- What is the travel budget for a stay from X to Y place?
The answer to this question is simple, it depends on what you do and whether you travel a lot or not! If you do a parachute jump, like I did in Australia, it will cost you 350 euros. If you want to visit several places and avoid transport time, you will have to buy a plane ticket which will cost you about a hundred euros.
Generally speaking:
Count a maximum of 50 euros per day for a low-cost exotic country, in Thailand or Indonesia, I could live on 20 euros per day as a backpacker.
Count up to 150 euros per day for a more developed country.

Honestly, what I usually do for hostels is go to hostelworld.com or hostelbooker.com. For other accommodations, I usually type on Google “Hotel reviews” followed by the city name. Then I come across a site with hotel reviews and generally I choose the best-rated hotels according to my budget. Prefer sites with rating systems, especially the “location or place of the hotel” section, it would be very annoying to book a hotel outside the city or far away, you will lose time moving around and comfort.

In the northern hemisphere, the best time would be to go in June or September because in some places it gets very hot, especially Japan, so you will drink a lot of water and it will be less comfortable for you.
In Northern Europe, it would be July and August.
In the southern hemisphere, it would be January and February, I am thinking especially of Australia or New Zealand.
For tropical countries, I think you should avoid the rainy season so the 2 best periods are from May to June or September to November depending on the country. I was in Thailand in February and August and I can tell you it’s not the same! In February, which corresponds to the high season, the weather was nice and in August in some places, it was raining! I can tell you it’s very annoying to be in Thailand, where it’s 30 degrees and raining!

Everything is possible as far as possible but know that you are on vacation, so take your time and enjoy as much as possible. Going fast and seeing everything sometimes means not doing much, you won’t enjoy it enough! The best is to enjoy each destination and take your time. See and live locally, feel the country. A trip is a whole and it’s not just the places and things you will see. It’s the atmosphere and the environment of the city.
It’s better to do well than to do everything. And besides, it will cost you more to do everything :D.
