// London: still in fashion in 2017
Very easy to access from France via the Eurostar from Paris, by boat from Calais or by plane through Heathrow airport!
The main time to go to London is during the Summer Olympic Games! There are other times of the year such as late August for the Notting Hill festival or at the end of the year for the sales during Boxing Day.
The Olympic Games take place every 4 years, and this year, the city of London was chosen for the thirtieth Olympic Games.
The Olympic Games run from July 27 to August 12.
The Paralympic Games from August 29 to September 9.
// Poland and Ukraine: budget-friendly countries
The fourteenth edition of the European Championship takes place in Poland and Ukraine.
It runs from June 8 to July 1.
8 cities have been selected for the event: 4 in each country!
=> For Poland:
Polska in Polish, Poland’s tourist appeal is that it has one of the highest numbers of lakes in the world.
Warsaw, or Warszawa in Polish: the first city and the capital of Poland, Warsaw is today the main hub of Central Europe; it is said that more than 80% of the buildings were destroyed and rebuilt after the Second World War.
Krakow, or Kraków in Polish: better known and more attractive than Warsaw for tourists due to its cultural center, traditions, and a history of more than 1000 years. It was the capital of Poland before Warsaw.
Poznań / Gdansk: the 5th and 6th largest cities in Poland, the latter has the largest port in the country.

=> For Ukraine:
Kiev, the 1st city and the capital of Ukraine. The city’s architecture rivals that of the largest European cities and also has an artistic side. The weekend is ideal for visiting as traffic in the city center is closed.
Donetsk, the 5th largest city in Ukraine, its FC Shakhtar Donetsk team won the UEFA Cup in 2009 for football fans.
Kharkiv / Lviv: the second and seventh largest cities in Ukraine. The first has one of the most important industrial, cultural, scientific, and educational centers in Ukraine, and the second, “Léopol” in French, the entire architectural ensemble of Lviv’s old town is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site.
// South Korea: still few tourists in 2017 or 2018
Since 2010, an advertising campaign has been launched to promote tourism. The country is called “the Land of the Morning Calm.” I personally went there in 2011 and really enjoyed my stay.
Known for its cuisine, its barbecue restaurants, and kimchi, this traditional Korean dish made of chili peppers and fermented vegetables is often a side dish to the meal.
Seoul, the first city of Korea and the capital, is the 4th most populous megacity in the world; I can say that during my visit, I felt very safe in this city. There are very beautiful temples.
Busan or Pusan, the second city of Korea, is the main port city of Korea.

// Myanmar: a country changing a lot, must visit in 2017
Now called Myanmar or rather the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, it is located in Southeast Asia. Myanmar is often associated with the image of Aung San Suu Kyi, who opposed the dictatorship of the ruling military junta.
This country is gradually opening up to tourists and the world. Now is the time to go to experience all its “authentic” aspects that it will lose within 10 years.
Buddhist religion mixed with local beliefs plays a very important role in Myanmar.
