My winter trip is already planned, so I still have to choose my end-of-summer trip! Knowing that I will probably leave for 3 weeks to a Latin American country, I will have two weeks of vacation left to do two destinations in Europe or a nearby country and take advantage of the crisis.

Greece

I chose this country for several reasons: currently with the crisis, Greece is one of the countries where tourism is still affordable for everyone, it’s really now that you have to go! Operators are going all out and offering big discounts because the destination has suffered negatively from the image of the crisis.

Egypt
Tourism in Egypt has also suffered from the image it gave internationally with the Arab Spring, tourists are a bit afraid to go to this destination! This is actually why travel agencies have slashed prices to attract visitors!
One of the things I would like to do in Egypt is to go to the desert, see the pyramids and also go there for diving, it is a country known for having wonderful diving spots! The Red Sea has diving spots very rich in marine life. You can also do diving stays there.

The Maghreb countries, (Morocco, Tunisia)
These countries have been less affected than Egypt, but because of the Arab Spring, their image has suffered a bit! Travel agencies have lowered their prices to attract potential customers! I really want to go there especially since I haven’t yet done Africa!
Brief Summary:
My opinion was a bit more divided between Egypt and Greece. But I think with the historical aspect, the many islands, the opinion of my friend Alex, I will choose to go to Greece. The choice is not yet made, but Greece has gained more points than the other countries!
