Leaving for Mauritius in September 2014 or not?
In this article, I am going to talk to you about one of my current thoughts. A friend of mine who went to university with me invited me to Mauritius in September 2014 because he is getting married. Several dilemmas crossed my mind.
And what about my world tour then?
Actually, I have been preparing my world tour for a year and I plan to leave mid-2014 for one or several years. Leaving for Mauritius in September, is it really reasonable? I was thinking of starting with Canada, where I want to apply for a working holiday visa at the end of 2013 for 2014.
To be honest with you, there are several reasons that make me hesitate.
- The price of the ticket, knowing that I will start my world tour at the same time, making a round trip to Mauritius is not very logical. On the other hand, the positive point is that I could do South Africa.
- Bad timing in my plans. I plan to go work in Canada in October 2014 to do a winter season and thus earn money and enjoy skiing in Whistler. By going to Mauritius, this plan could fall through.
The personal reasons that make me want to go there.
- We went to university together, we are good friends, we always went out in groups together. We even went to London for a week and Amsterdam for New Year’s Eve.
- He supported me during my master’s at school and in life in general, he must be someone who helped me grow and I thank him for that. Coming to his wedding in Mauritius is something I can do in return.
- I will probably visit him in Dubai in May. I think I will decide at that time.
A decision must be made even if it is in a year and a half.
